Valuations

Our experts at Gray’s have been valuing art and other precious artifacts for 30+ years. Valuations are based on current auction values. If you need a valuation for an estate, a collection or a single piece, please contact our valuations department.

Important Things to Know Before Requesting a Valuation

  • Initial valuations are done online. However, you must be willing to bring your item to our auction house in Cleveland, Ohio, to get an accurate estimate.

  • Due to the high volume of requests we receive for auction valuations, the estimated wait time could be as long as two weeks.

  • Auction estimates are subject to change when we see the objects in person.

  • Initial auction estimates given are for guidance only.

  • We do not evaluate tools, kitchen utensils, electronics, toys, records/CDs/DVD etc, or any items you are not considering selling with Grays. Take a look at our blog on valuing your own items to get a head start.
