Hiring: Shipping Associate

We’re looking for an Shipping Associate that handle unique auction lots with care, ensuring they reach their new owners safely.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carefully pack and ship auction wins, ensuring they arrive with their new owners safely and undamaged.

  • Create accurate shipping label and maintain accurate documentation and records.

  • Load and unload property from Gray’s van

  • Move furniture, art and decor in the auction house as directed.

  • Set the stage for success, assisting with studio setups and item positioning for photo shoots.

  • Transform our auction space, and set the floor as directed for previews and live events, creating an inviting atmosphere for bidders.

  • Occasionally drive our van for pickups and deliveries, handling treasures with care.

  • Stick to our high standards by adhering to all company policies, especially those related to health and safety.

  • Maintain the polish and professionalism of our auction house, ensuring the shipping department is always clean and welcoming.

  • Keep our paperwork accurate and our documentation precise.

  • Tackle other duties that pop up—there’s never a dull moment here!

What we are a looking for

  • Can lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical aspects of the job.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is a must.

  • Experience in auctions or retail? Great! Not a deal-breaker if not.

  • A valid Driver's License and the ability to meet our insurance standards.

  • Strong communicator, top-notch organizer.

  • A detail-oriented person who follows through until the sparkling end.

  • Comfort with Microsoft Office is essential; bonus points if you’re familiar with online shipping services (UPS/FedEx/USPS/GoShippo etc)
